Best uses for Deathfog
So, it seems that there are crates/barrels of deathfog available to us. I'm not sure how limited these are, but I've collected several dozen already on the Lady Vengeance.

Anyone have any tips on how best to use these? Any fights that are hilarious to utterly cheese with them?

I used one for the Karon fight in the sewers.. put it in the center of the circle of braziers, then lit them with a fire grenade. He teleported into the deathfog right off, and dropped dead.

I suppose if I still have them at the end of the game I can always distribute them around Arx (along with my unusually large collection of poison/oil barrels) and just utterly nuke the place.

During the only fights that are challenging, everyone is immune to death fog haha
But its a fun way to quickly gain xp and basically skip fights.

Where do you get these deathfog barrels?

In the tutorial if you are undead and are fast enough to drag a deathfog barrel to your inventory

I didn't even think about that, but yeah.. if you're undead you might be able to snag some off the bow of the ship below decks.

But no, in Arx (chapter 6) you'll find loads of barrels and crates in the sewers. They weigh in at 95 and 200 lbs each though, but you can pick them up and right click to send them to the Lady Vengeance in bulk.

I feel like while this is a thing, it should be punished, because story reasons.

Well at that point almost any enemy worth salt is undead anyway. But it can remove some of the peskier spawns. Not that any of that is required.

Yeah, by then on Classic mode my lone wolf archer more or less one shots anything (or any 2 or 3 things) I want in a given turn. Heck, she killed the Doctor in a single hit.. and I hear that's more or less one of the harder fights (for some reason). Honestly, I don't think I've seen anything remotely resembling a challenge since Act 1, aside from the Karon fight.

Even that was only a challenge because for some reason my archer always went last in the turn order.. despite having like 70 wits. Long story short, my rogue ended up charmed.. and my archer never got her turn, and was then killed by my rogue. Needless to say, I reloaded and deathfog'd him before he could raise his friends.

I'm pretty sure you can get some deathfog in act 2 as well in the sewers.

Used it for the battle against Lord Kemm when you are trying to save Ahru. Didn't kill Kemm because he's undead, but I got rid of 2 or 3 of his minions like that.

you get them in the severs but they weigh 95-200 each.

If you have an undead duo team then deathfog is of no threat to your group.

In the fight with Kemm i just kept hitting him with my large mace and the other 2 melee fighters died from the 50% cleave dmg.

the doctor must of been in his human form. he's much more annoying in his demon form.

It's one of the harder fights because if you take Lohse with you, she has the option to weaken the Doctor by entering his realm and blowing out the candles, which are human souls that he keeps in his own personal realm and feeds off of for eternity. If you don't do this, he's a true menace to fight, and taking Lohse along with you means you get 3 turns to try to take him out or else he possesses her and you lose her as a companion. It's the hardest fight to win with Lohse on your team without blowing out the candles.

I tested unleashing death fog in arx via the machine in the sewers. Fane didn't care, but Ifan and Beast flipped out and started combat. I fled the fight to see if I could pick them back up on lady v, but they were waiting for me and initiated combat as soon as me and fane appeared.
