Edit: well yes and no, i mean only part of alice being part of the quest is cause she has the key to open the basement which you can picklock open, inside the basement is a with potion you need to give to one of the cows and a recipe book (need scholar and mystic but not a must). To craft the second potion all you need is a Augmentor + Boletus + Witch's Eye and boom second potion done. Give it to the cows and quest done.
Make sure you have Telekinesis before you leave Fort Joy. There will be an item marked as Dusty Pouch which you can find before reaching Fort Joy. It is indestructible. Put literally everything you've ever encountered into it that's heavy: wood crates, barrels of oil, everything heavy. Eventually, this will accumulate to a massive enough weight that you can kill pretty much everything with it - in one shot. The higher your telekinesis, the greater the range you can do it from. You can even eliminate entire clusters of enemies with this technique without ever starting combat.
When you reach Alice Alisceon, simply "throw" this item at her telekinetically. Note: It has to be on the ground already. You can't move it from your inventory, which by the time it's this heavy if it is in your inventory you're not walking anyway because you'll be too "encumbered" to do so.
Move it toward her from far enough away that she won't notice you or engage you. Time your throw so that she flies into it as it reaches the destination, and it'll count as an attack, which will get you the experience when she dies. If your Dusty Pouch has a weight of, say, 20,000?
It'll do about 10,000 points of potential damage.
The downside to this technique is whoever you use to fling this at her is going to immediately be needing a Resurrection Scroll. Same with the undead ferryman nearby, who isn't worth nearly as much experience but who absolutely deserves it because if you take the ferry he will intentionally kill you in the death fog just out of sheer malice.
However, you will still kill her in one hit.
Note that this also works on that obnoxious git Jahan: you make that pouch heavy enough, and it's gonna kill whatever you Jean Grey it at.
I basically cheesed the Npc, because I have a perk called "Beastmaster", which allows me to have two summons out at all times.
Summoning- level 10 (13 with gear).
This time around on my new playthrough, I simply stayed back, summoned one summon, let the summon initiate the fight without my character actually being in battle, led Alice away from her totems which heal her. Broker her armor with my Summon. Spawned a Second Summon, and basically stunlocked/Knocked her down so she couldn't move. And since my character wasn't in battle, I could basically keep summoning creatures, over, and over with no consequence.
Hurrah for breaking Cooldown timers!
2a. either permafreeze her
2b. or teleport her down the cliff
Requires some money, 2 in summoning (use mirror if needed) , Character that heals from health potions (No Undead, No Fane)
Nice to haves: High wits, or High Magic armor. Peace of mind is good for this "fight"
Talk to Trader Bree (Make sure she's keeping it together)
Buy: Soul Mate, any health potions she has (if you've been playing/stealing your way around Act 2 you should have some potions already)
Learn soul mate and memorize, combine health potions until you have 4 giant health potions (or however many that'd be Alice's health)
Go to Alice.
Survive and not get feared on her first turn.
Your turn: soul mate Alice, and drink all your health potions. she should die then.
Soul mate transfers all positive buffs from you to your soul mate. Drinking health potions counts as a positive buff. However, Alice is undead, so the effect of the potion hurts her.
decided to spread team all over the place and extinguish all the fire there
while my speech-char is talking to her
accidently triggered the totems to fight me
alice stayed in speech, killed all totems healed up, then triggered fight
used all my big aoe healing spells on her (source in armor)
fight over
