Stuck - Cannot locate Obsidian Knife For Second Ritual - *Mild Spoilers *

So I cannot locate the Obsidian Knife to complete the ritual for the second time. Even when I check the cupboard with each character it still states that I have everything I need. Commented on a couple of other posts but nobody seems to have a work around

Hi Aggressivepillow,

Seems to be a few in this predicament and while I've no definite answer for you (sorry :( ) here are what I've learned about it - which might save you some time.

1) The knife can't be sold - so dont bother looking for it in vendors. It can., however be dropped.

2) Quite common is having it hidden in some pouch or bag in inventory - so be very thorough in your inventory search

3) As all items can be fast stored to the Lady Vengence by a right click - do consider travelling back to the ship to see if you accidenly stored it there.

4) This thread in Larian forums has the OP claiming SOLVED!..but annoyingly not sharing what his solution was.

5) A post above that speaks very confidently about the 'witch' giving you another - though there is no followup clarity. http://larian.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=619279

i also did not find the stuff the first time, i realoaded a savegame which i made like 3 minutes before i went there. then it worked

If you're talking about the lancet, I still had that in my bags from the first ritual. I don't know if there's a second knife anywhere.

My last save file is like 10+ hours away and I'm really not wanting to do that

Just going to start over, I can't find the fking knife anywhere for part 2 of the ritual and I've saved over tthe old save (seeing it was 20 hours old)... done the usual check every bag, checked the ship... GAH

Hey, this is a very old post, but I had the same problem now and discovered that the knife can be stolen by Lohar's dwarves. Then it will be in the backpack on Lohar's table along with our other things.
Maybe it will be useful to someone someday
