Vrogir Alter

Am i missing something? I prayed to all the others, but Vrogir's alter just stays silent. I'm pretty sure it's part of an achievement.

i just got this achievment today but i had to switch to player for one of the alters to speak. Have you tried all 4 of your players.

yeah, didnt work for me. I have iban, red prince, and lohse but since its the orc altar I wouldnt think it would matter

The achievement was a bit buggy, I don't know if any of the recent patches fixed it, but I gained the favor of all the altars and I the achievement was stuck on 6 of 7 altars.

ah, thats probably it. I didnt think to check spirit vision

Spoke with the orc downstairs. Even tried to consume his spirit but I still get the same text from the altar, The altar stands silent before you etc etc.

Okay,after fumbling around a bit more I checked my journal and it already has a journal entry for Vrogir. Don't exactly remember where and when I got that but guessing that this is the reason why the altar in the temple does not interact with me. You should also check this, maybe you also have an entry like that. (Also would be good if Larian gave some clarification about this :)

There is a piece of paper/book that you can loot from the sallowman area that gives you the solutions to half the altars. Apparently the Alexander fight (though I can't confirm this personally, it was mentioned on another forum) has a similar 'readable' item. If you have picked up either of these items then the quest log will update to tell you what the symbol is (sun/moon) for some of the altars and the those ones will no longer 'bless' you/give full dialogue.

I keep forgetting to avoid these encounters until I've done the altars, but the theory seems to fit, since the altars don't work for me after I have finished these fights except for the elf one.
