Has anyone figured out what's in the chest on Act 1 boat fight?

While Malady channels the spell, the hooded figure and Dallis are on the other boat -- there's a chest there! Think there's anything unique in it or just a rng chest?

I did ! And I managed to get it (with my friend) and win the fight :)

There was actually really good loot, like 1 epic weapon, 1 epic armor, a bit of money and something else, I don't remember.

I was wondering how many people saw this chest and managed to get it? ahahah

Just warp your rogue up there with cloak and dagger loot the chest than go invisible with a potion or charmelon from polymorph. She one shots on tactician mode or you can cheese her with barrel after you loot.

I found some unique witching trousers plus some other nice pieces, as well as 3500 gold.

Only just identified them as required lvl 5 lore and its a level 20 item....I'm currently level 9!
Gives me 809 mag and 168 physical armour plus 563 health.....looks like ive broken the game for a while ha!

To put into perspective my average trouser armour at the moment is about 20....I'm a real loot ♥♥♥♥♥ too!

Rofl waste that does sound like a bug to me :) Grabbed the chest with a friend of mine on our last playthrough, had some decent loot but for sure no level 20 stuff.

Nothing decent. Generic loot chest with gear you'll sell or wear for one level if that, and some gold and generic stuff. Used a rogue to get up there, robbed the chest, entered sneak mode, robbed Dallis, robbed her thin guy, then jumped back on the boat to finish those weird dog-monk things (great character design) just in time for Malady to explode us into the void. Good times.

Guess I got really lucky then.
Might have something to do with having 7points in lucky charm.
I get awesome legendary/epic items quite often at the moment just from random loot stashes
