Is it possible to save Gareths parents? I've tried rushing there as soon as I arrive at reapers coast but they're still dead :(

No, I think the only thing time based you can have an impact on is the refugees to save in the seekers camp at the beginning of the game their life decrease very slowly so if you don't come soon enough they are dead by the time you arrive.

As for Gareth his all character is about that one even so if you could save them he would be really useles (and he's already not very interesting as it is so xD)

Yes, you save his parents by encountering Gareth standing over Jonathan in the farmhouse in the meadow. If you head to Paradise Down, it immediately triggers their deaths.

I believe if you spare Jonathan in the farmhouse, it also triggers their deaths.

I'm not sure if you need to spare or kill Jonathan to save them, though. I actually intend to test that out when I hit Act 2 again in my current playthrough.

Oh so if you kill Jonathan when Gareth knocks him out in the farm house then his parents will still be alive?

If his parents live, can you still pickpocket the thievery dagger? I felt kinda bad raiding their dead bodies. Not like really bad, but I was playing with Loshe and Beast and them looting dead bodies just didn't role play well for me.
