[BUG/SPOILER] Battle Source Puppet infinite loop
During the death room fight under Lucian's grave, the Battle Source Puppet's will respawn after dying from the traps, however they also get a new turn before the turn ends... So my characters never get a turn.

So this is creating a situation where they are dying to traps consistently every single turn, and respawning and taking a new turn. Creating an infinite loop.

Easy way to solve this... stop respawning the enemies since this is an annoying difficulty feature, or make it so they lose their turn when they die...

This is by far the most frustrating and annoying part of the game.

funny thing - traps did nothing when i was fighting the dolls. they just sat there.

think traps are activated by one of the levers

those puppet are mean't to respawn. The respawn until you pull the correct combination. It's not a difficulty feature, it's a mechanic of that specific room.

not really. if you payed attention to what puppetmaster was saying you'd know that you can just eat their source and they'll insta die for good

That is true. But I hate to tell you. Not everyone even knows about the Toyseller. Or really even talks to him, or convince him. That -is- the mechanic of that room.

You don't even really have to fight the puppets either, if you rescued and talked to Arhu, he will tell you the lever sequence, using the mobility abilties like Phoenix Dive and Cloak and Dagger I just focused on hitting the correct levers and soon as the last one was flipped all teh puppets instantly died.

Also, if you kill them by burning them, freezing them or anything like it (so their bodies are like shattered or burned etc...] they don't respawn either.
I killed them this way and then only 3 of them started to respawn, i just had to drain their source and the fight was over :)

I almost got an infinite loop, well it was more like 15 or so of them until one finally managed to survive it's turn. It happens if the last person of the turn is an enemy, the puppet runs to activate a lever but dies to the traps, it will then respawn and get another turn, it did this and would die to necrofire or spike traps about 15 times before one of them decided to go for a safe lever and let it be a new turn again, rather annoying tbh.

Good way to get free source orbs though, got like 10 of them from the death room.

You need to pull 5 levers. You should spell out the word "POWER".

So, anymore about this? I know it would be a spoiler, but, the thread is already so labeled. Which ones spell POWER and where in the room are they.
Also, as suggested, I can ignore the puppets, but, they will still unleash a lot of fire and some ice spells. What about smoke bombs or smoke arrows to conceal you? I agree the phoenix dive and cloak and dagger, and tactical retreat are good at moving significant distances cheaply. What about Flight? To avoid the harsh ground effects.
What about other tactics like keeping the ground wet with rain spell or blood rain spell or water balloons? That could reduce the fire on the ground, but, not help the ice spells.
Also, the silly things seem to be impervious to Death Fog? WTF?
