Are you using a staff or something?

Because you have an INT based weapon equipped. All warfare attacks bonus stat are based on your equipped weapon type.

You said it better than i did.

Warfare also increases the damage you do with your staffs melee swings.

Warfare says it increases physical damage dealt. Don't staffs do elemental damage?

Unlike EA, Combat Abilities have 2 purpose now.
1. minimum requirement for learning skills
2. increasing specific type of damage, Increasing healing amount etc
Important thing is that these two categories are distinctively separated.

For example, some skills are affected by various resources.
Mosquito Swarm Healing Amount = [M.S. Base Damage × {1+0.05 × (INT-10)} × (1 + 0.05 × Warfare)] × [1 + (0.1×Necro) × (1+0.05 × Hydro)]

You should read tooltips carefully to understand on what each trees affect.

INT staves can't be an efficient choice for Warfare characters. The game doesn't prevent it, but it doesn't work well.

Nope. This is not true. I think you're confused. Warfare doesn't increase the damage if you're holding a magic staff.

Hm I might have had the enchanter selected while reading on the skill. Will test this tomorrow.. she's using wands. Everyone else in my team are using swords or daggers.
