What is good? To crush your enemies. Have them driven before you. And to hear the Lamentations of their Abominations.

You MUST kill the wolves before they howl on the abomination. CC them down and keep them CC locked untill you kill them. If too many howls go off on the abomination, it is going to wipe you.

Simple, use the Spider Legs skill and use Web on everything and everyone, since the boss can only attack melee, when its webbed there's nothing to worry anymore.

CCing the boss also works.

If there is a fight in this game though that brute forcing your way will not work on it is this fight. If all the howls go off on the abom, each one of its melee attacks will hit in the 700-850 damage range. Yeah, ouch.

I deeeed it. Break armor, knockdown one turn, next chicken into rupture tendons, he runs away taking ♥♥♥♥ loads of damage, snipe with archer = gg

Supercharged Artillery Plant works too.

I did it on Tactician but I was a little under-levelled. Already killed the 2 Bridge Trolls at level 12 so figured I'd try this Abomination thing. I couldn't burst his armour down in one turn so I had to get a little creative.

Basically had to precast Fortify and Peace of Mind to get my turn order set. Had 2 mages knock off the magic armour on the wolves then used Medusa Head to petrify them all for one turn giving me a free round without mega buffs on the big guy.

After that I just backstabbed his armour down and CC'ed him with Knockdowns (one from my avatar, Sebille, and the other from a Blood Incarnate) / Chicken Claw / Cripple until he was dead, then cleaned up the wolves.

At first I thought it was impossible, but as long as you CC the big fella

Well this fight is some serious bull... I started the fight with a summon, the boss ignores the summon and the tank, runs straight to the casters (3 turns walking distance for me), steals a source point, summons wolves, knocks down one of my casters, curses another one and than cleaves all 3 of them for all their armor. /end of turn one/ the 4 wolves howl on him before my casters even get a go...

Edit: I found a way to kill him at lvl 11, requires a warfare/necromancer build:
The massive damage he deals when buffed by the wolves can be utilized to your advantage.

Position your brawler between the Abomination and the rest of the group, start the fight with black widdow summon, bite off as much armor as possible (utilize the opportunity attacks of your summon and your brawler), survive, let the wolves buff him with the howls, cast Shackles of pain and Living on the edge, let him bite you and oneshot himself.

Finish off the wolves or retreat and come back for them later.

The following screenshot was taken durring the learning phase and contains a spoiler on how I killed him.

For me on tactician, it was cheese time.
Teleport one small wolf over, nuke it... Tactical retreat + flee.
Repeat until no more wolves that give OP buffs to the boss.

i ended up CCing the abomination while slowly killing the wolves. I had to burst his physical armor in the first turn so i could knock him down. then while slowly killing the other wolves, i made sure to still keep his physical/magic armor down so that most of my cc will work. toughest fight so far for me on classic mode :P

got Fane?

1. get the abomination's armor down. it ifan has summond a wolf, it will go after that first, before anything else, meaning attacks of opportunity for anyone in reach with a melee weapon. whaver armor is left can be taken down by acid attack, or necro, or physical.

2. when it's fane's turn, have him cast his time warp skill first. then haste, then shackles of pain on abomination. now cast adrenalin to start your "repeat" turn. cast living on edge. Now go into your inventory, and swallow a giant health potion. since you are undead, it will very likely crit you for... 3300 damage. abomination hps: 3450. what's even more fun.. if you have any points in necro, the damage you do to the abomination with chains will likely heal you back to full health.

3. Blow over with feather. win. wolves are a non issue after abomination is down.

On a new playthrough I found a different way to wreck this with ease.
Hannag spawns lava. Terrain transmute onto the abomination and teleport the white wolf onto the lava after... it's a bit too cheesy though.

I cast oil all over the place kept my distance and engaged with an imp made from oil. Fight was easy for me I didn't take one hit. Use Ground attacks hes weak to them.

I'll be honest, super easy way to win the fight is to make him lose his magic armor, charm him (either with dominate mind skill from Summoner track, charm arrow, or love grenade) and he'll almost one shot the wolves with the buffs they continue to give him even while charmed.

I know this is kinda late...but I cheese him using 4 well placed cooking pots behind him before triggering conversation same like troll strategy
