Tyrant Helm dissapeared! WTH???

So after a fight my main char startet burning, and couldnt move, so i thought this might be because of the fight, so i blessed and healed him, but nothing helped... so i looked in his inventory and the Tyrant helm is gone! and its not the first time items has gone missing....

So now i cant use the set, ive been collecting for a long time??????????? Is this a bug, cause then its a f********** serious one at that!..... god im mad at the moment.. this is f************** up.....

I might be able to go back to a earlier save, but i had a big fight i just survived, and im wouldnt try getting through it 4-6 times cause the game is bugged......

Which fight? If it was the demon that came out of the helmet than you will find it buried in your inventory.

It was in a corpse of that demon yes, just found it, but i still have items thats dissapeared on my chars... but that was low lvl chars... this helmet suddenly going to the demon is just poor design imo....

Since the demon litterally was summoned out of the helmet and you freed it by using it I don't see how it's poor design personally.
It litterally happens when you use the helmet's ability so I don't think it's that hard to make the connection here.

The entire thing is explained when it happened. You used helm too much, demon got out. Kill demon, take helmet back.

I mean looting is the first thing most people do when beating a named boss, so I see nothing poor about the design at all. Especially since the helm after the fight is slightly different.

And how do I loot him if he disappeared in a sequence?? I was on lady vengence, purgerd one of the gheists then that dude appeared and before I could fight him the battle was over everyone got knocked out and I was in the Hall of Echos burning ... now when I got back to normal lady vengence THERE IS NO LIZARD WITH THE HELMET

To be fair, by that point you should be level 9, with a set that is level 6. By that time getting rid of the set is a good idea anyway. Unless you have a mod that lets you level up your gear. Its one of the sad parts about the set, by the time you get it all you've basically outleveled it. Given that, and the fact that you have to replace the whole thing at once (not easy honestly) don't see it as a good set to use.

You'll also replace the purging capability relatively early in Ch 2, so it's not a big loss there.
