He's just running around aimlessly saying dumb things i cant talk to him and finish Burying the past. Is the quest bugged, because i am at a loss.

Ive killed Johnathan and collected his ring. Gareth still wont talk to me.

if its the first time u meet Gareth
yeah theres a bug there
I usually have a safe file and had to redo the fight again
2nd time it didnt bug.

There is a really big problem with reverting to a save file before i picked up his quest. It would set me back so far. Id be going back 4 levels, and tons of progression would be just lost. Im talkin 12 hours, at least. What will happen if i just kill him?


Killing him worked. It sucks,I didnt want him to die, but at least i can progress now.

He's doing the same for me- did anyone find a solution? I've already consumed the souls of his parents to punish him- all I have left is to kill him I suppose. So frustrating.
