Are there supposed to be no shoulderpads at all for the Main and Party Characters?
After playing the Beta and hopping back in to experience the rest of the tale that will be spun in Divinity 2, I have discovered something rather irksome, for some reason there are no shoulder-pads at all for equipable pieces of armor and clothing alike. So, I was just here to confirm if they did indeed remove them or if I am just the only one and I am experiencing a bug.

Thanks in advance for the answers,

-A humble Divinity: Original Sins fan.

Like as a seperate equip slot? No, that's not there. Some armor pieces come with almost WoW style massive shoulderpads though.

Ah, sorry I guess I didn't articulate it well enough. So, let me elaborate, in the beta all armor chest pieces had shoulderpads attached to them, yet in this version of the game they have all seemed to disappear, so I was just confirming that they did remove them from the equipment or if I am the only one suffering this asthetical error.

There are definitely some armour with shoulder pads. I am in act 2 and on one set of plate armour, it has just the curaiss for common. For rare it adds shoulder pads, and for epic it adds a cape. Each successive tier adds something cosmetically as well as stat-wise.

This is actually a really cool mechanic, if you ask me. In DOS 1 you would wear an endgame robe that looks just like the one you started the game with, but in this game armour looks much cooler as you progress.

Hmm, alright thank for clearing that up for me! And yes, it does sound like a good mechanic they implemented, and it was the same feeling for me in the first game as well.

Well, again, thank you for clearing up my question.
