Divinity: Original Sin 2
[BUG] Finder's Fee quest doesn't close
Second island.
Upon bringing Mummie Dearest's head to paladin Thom Hardwin, he takes it, says he's giving a reward, but there is no reward and the quest remains stuck in the journal.

Anyone managed to find an override to this?

Got the same problem. Have you already completed paladin related quest in Blackpits?

No I didn't do Blackpits yet.

Good thinking, perhaps doing that one first unlocks whatever is stuck with the head.
Okay, onward to Blackpits, here's hope it helps.

Unfortunately, it will not. I did Blackpit and one event related to paladins right after (avoiding spoilers) before getting Finder's Fee quest. My thought was, that turning Finder's Fee before Blackpit would suffice. Apperantly it doesn't. /sigh
This is bad news. So now I'll definetly have two unclosed (I've picked the lock on sleeping adventurer chest instead of talking to it and now that quest won't close either).

sleeping adventurer
You'll get a reference about him later, at the overruned Sawmill. Have no worries there :)
Im stuck with the quest too, no reward no xp no nothing
Okay guys I've reported it on the official Larian forum, let's hope it'll be patched sometimes in the future.
Bug is still there. However, I was able to close it with a reload, talking to the singing spirit, and using character actually holding Mummie Dearest's head. Not sure which of those actions triggered the close, but it worked for me.
For anyone still searching this: No it is still not (I guess won't ever be) fixed in 2024.
