Rank the Origin's companions from best to worst.

I can't say much yet, because I've barely clocked in any playing time and I'm still trying decide whom to take along. Hence this thread.

No matter what. Fane is top of the list. His story in the game is the most essential and vital. Youll get what im saying when i say this, later in the game. But Fane is the key to understanding it all.

I am struggling to make a decision between adding Fane or the Red Prince in my party. They both come off as intelligent, conceited, and aristocratic, and they have a similar speaking voice. Might be too much to have both characters in the same group for me, although I think they're both interesting from what I've seen so far.

Have yet to use a custom as the stories / interaction of the Origin stories are too good to miss out.

Yeah, Beast kinda bores me, dwarves all kinda feel the same to me across games. And the sea-faring angle doesn't interest me too much. Might take Lohse along though, I need an enchanter/healer in my party and she seems to fit the bill the most.

I like Ifan, his personal quests aren't much, but he's very connected to the main arc and has a lot of dialogue options with people in the world (he's a pretty famous guy).

Didn't think much of Sebille to be honest.

As for the others, I haven't taken any of them, but Lohse's story seems quite interesting from what little I know.

Lohse is definetelly the most interesting.. I also find Fane interesting and the Red LIons story interesting though his attitude suc ks. Lohse by a landslide however.

Im not very far either but from what ive seen i like Red Prince, Beast, and Ifan.
Im not a fan of Fane. He rubs me the wrong way, where as Red Prince is funny about it. Dont get me wrong though, I do think Fane has a really interesting story.
I also dont care much for Sebille, but that might change once i get to know her better maybe.
And Lohse is my main, so i cant say much about her as a companion other than i found her origin story the most interesting of all 6.

The others motivations arent as interesting.

Fane master race. No seriously. He is every single race.
And even as undead, he even has 6 dialogue tags.

Best companion for rpg purpose.

Ifan is the guy you would like to have a beer with and will be there as best man to your wedding tho.

Sebille is also good but only because corpse eating reveals a few funny things

Lohse is best waifu. Sebille is a big fat ♥♥♥♥. Red Prince is an arrogant prick. Ifan is cool. Beast is second-best waifu.

i would actualy say that lohse is best to play AS. this way one can experience her inner demon story best.
my favorite companion is fane a) because hes just to essesecial to the plot to not have him in your party (at least for one story playthrue) and b) because he brings some awsome dialogue and a highly interesting perspective and philosophy on the world.

cant realy judge ifan and prince, have yet to play with either of the two past fort joy
beast and ifan get the most buddy point tho
sebile's story seems a bit dull in my eyes, kind of like beast, but he has a bigger impact in the world with his one.
