The last fight is about 20 times harder than everything else in the game. It feels like it's tuned for level 25+.
I can't use Anathema because Tarquin bugged out in act 2. In Arx alone I have failed five quests due to them somehow becoming messed up in the scripting, or simply are awfully designed and does not allow the same freedom of choice and regret other quests in the game do.
It's clear to me that this game was nowhere near ready release with how poor Arx really is. Fighting Lohse's demon for example - what a joke. This had been hyped up all game and I killed everything in like five rounds.
Last fight though? Yeah no, that one Larian decided to absolutely ♥♥♥♥ us with, while making most parts of the rest of the game way, way too easy. This game would surpass the original and most other CRPGs I've played in the last ten years if the last 20-30 hours were properly looked at and had another QA pass.
Yes, I am writing here because I am extremely frustrated with this fight :)
That's what you get when you play 'easy mode'. Quit complaining and play a harder setting.
How do you do that?
I think he meant the option where you seek divinity. I'm pretty sure there's only two options: easy and hard mode basically.

I nearly gave up - BUT
In the end, I had Fane Time Warp Red Prince, and then attacked Braccus. Red Prince did enough damage to knock down Braccus with Knockdown Arrows.
Lohse, fortunately, had been killed, so I resurrected her miles away. Summoned Incarnate Champion to knock down Braccus again.
In the end, it would have still been impossible, BUT, I Shackle of Pained Braccus with Lohse, and used Living on the Edge on Fane to keep him alive.
Long story short, the Kraken ended up killing Braccus. He took Lohse and Red Prince with him, but we cannot always be the masters of our own destiny
