The Snoozing Adventurer bugged? *Spoilers*
I'm in a room in a tavern in Driftwood. There is a man sleeping on a bed, and there is a locked chest at the bed under his feet. The chest talks and wants me to say the key word to open it. I try to open it by saying random words without success. When I finally say give up, the chest says good choice, I get some EXPs, and my journal updates writing we managed to open the talking chest. The problem is that it's still not open yet. I think it's bugged. If it's not bugged, please tell me why I can't still open it.

Thanks.

P.S.: By the way, I don't want to destroy it. It talks, so I don't want to kill it.

Normally, you would talk to the sleeping guy after trying to open his chest. Then you would tell him that you are his mother and he would tell you the correct word. That being "The word".

Same here...Lockipicking the chest will make it not talk to you. So I'm guessing destroying it is the only way.

what's wrong with just lockpicking it and skipping the text? You still get loot. I got 2 items.

You can lockpick it? When I tried it says it has no lock to pick, it's magic.

Odd. Bug perhaps

Ugh, I was wondering about this "quest" in the log for so long and looked it up now since I'm leaving the act. The chest never talked to me and I ended up just picking the lock when I came back later seeing if I had found a key for it.

They might have fixed this in the meantime. It was definitely possible when I was playing it.

This bit requires you talk to the man several times and tell him you are his mother to get the password. The chest gives you the password every time it says say "the word". I think the devs want to see how badly you want to get into the chest.

I opened that chest by 'accident'.

I teleported a chest from the captains room into here, to open it in peace, but attracted the attention of an outside guard who wandered into the room. In the fight, two Battle Stomp's aimed at the guard also had the chest in the Stomp's path. Chest was shattered - it couldn't have been very strong.
