The secret to dealing with them is they are suceptable to water and ice (as well as physical obviously and also air I beleive) so if you clear an area around the platform and ice it over, even better summon an Ice Incarnate if you do summoning as well, you can teleport some of the big nasty ones onto it and they won't last long. An ice incarnate in particular will make short work of those big fire voidwoken. Freeeze them, electrocute them.
The little ones are a nuisance jumping up all the time but they are also easy to kill physically, I suggest saving the water/air stuff for the big ones.
The best way to approach this battle is from the top platform, you can take the whole party up there before talking with the head magister, Johnathon, and starting combat. Kill Johnathon asap while you start a global fire to deal with the oil voidwoken below and keep the young mage alive with heals and buffs, he tends to stay up there, although he does also have suicidal tendencies so keep a close eye on his condition. Johnathoins adds may or may not be of assistance to you - they might attack you or they might get tied up with the voidwoken. If they are fightijng voidwoken leave them to it. There is one archer which you should probably teleport up onto the platform and dispatch forthwith, he can be a nuisance.
You can create ice etc by casting Bless on the necro fire then Rain then Global Cooling or Winter Blast etc on a suitable area of the platforms. This is the secret to the big fire voidwoken - they must be separated from fire to stop them healing in it and introduced to ice which they don't like. They don't like it at all.
you are missing the entire point of this thread, try re-reading what people posted. Its nothing at all to do with tactics, or finding the fight hard, its a bug where an immortal vicous voidling spawns and breaks the game making it impossible to progress.
