Hot blooded, executioner, lone wolf, some will say glass cannon

Hot blooded, Glass Cannon or Lone Wolf (cannot have both), The Pawn, Far Out Man, and lastly Morning Person.

pawn and morning person are a waste for me. get him tactical retreat and phonix dive (warfare jump skill). better to spend 2 points in warfare, than wasting an importan talent

Does Far Out Man definitely work right? I have it on my Ranger and summoner & I'm not sure. When in high ground I think it works (not really sure), but when on equal ground I haven't seen any extra distance gained compared to without it.

It depends on how you play and build. But tac retreat and phoenix dive are good to have. You can build a ranger around What A Rush and have fun with the extra AP or a ranger that rarely move at all, just stand still and shoot and spam CCs.

Warfare? go 2 in scoundrel and get their teleport skill (don't rember the name), adrenaline & chloroform
Flesh sacrafice + adrenaline gives you 7ap points in rangers first turn, if you kill and have executioner it's 9ap on first turn ;)

not a bad idea. but scoundrel gives you "only" crit multiplier while warfare gives you 5% more dmg

Far out man definitely works so get that for sure. I like the pawn so I can reposition every turn without wasting AP.

yea but you'll teleport & attack 4 times if the sequence works & you need onl 2 points in scoundrel for that, so you'll loose 10% upgrade from base dmg which is what 2% overal dmg?
So yoou'll do 196% more dmg since you'll attack 4 times ;)

If you got a necromancer then before starting the fight simply cause ur archer to drop below 50% Vitality and use Death Wish. Make sure Armor is your archer's strongest point and you won't have a problem. due to the long range added from Far out + a high location.

Then again i would adice against archers due to the valueable arrows that can be sold once enchanted and purchase good stuff from vendor's :)

You can play the Ranger effectively without ever using a special arrow. Let CC to others and concentrate on damage. When the armor is gone and CC possible the fight is over quickly anyway in most situations.

I horde my arrows, lol. Occasionally the CC arrows are really handy for bosses though.

I've been running with a Hot Headed + Lone Wolf crit build, focusing on Finesse, Wit, and some Scoundrel for a very high crit chance and crit multiplier, and a few points in Warfare for Enrage (to combo with Adrenaline for chaining ranged crits with a height damage bonus)...it's like ranged backstabs and it's a ton of fun. Also have sme Aero from gear for Netherswap to swap with an enemy that's up high, and Teleport to teleport them down low... You'll have access to Phoenix Dive, Cloak and Dagger, and with a bit of Huntsman, Tactical Retreat, for some great mobility and escaping/positioning.
