Lohse Quest Final Boss Impossible? (Major Spoilers)
So I challenged Adramahlik to a fight with Lohse, and even after snuffing the souls and weakening him, he is impossible to defeat for me, is there a trick to winning the fight that I'm not seeing here?

I never messed with candles. Is there a book that tells you about them or a cue in battle?

Buddy and I also just killed him really quick (classic mode) before he did much of anything. Had his name and Lohse with me but never knew about candles.

It has something to do with Malady. If you just approach his house normally, you shouldn't miss it. Might not be a guaranteed thing depending on your past interactions with Malady, though - I'm not sure.

Weird. Thought Malady and I got along well enough but definitely wasn't around the house. Door just asked for Lohse, she opened it, and we went in. Ah well, got through it I guess =P

First time I tried this fight, I almost got wiped and had to flee. Second time, I put my whole team at the town square and sneaked in the black house with just my ranger. Killed three nurses, 1 at a time, and fled. Came back with the whole team and wrecked the rest of the pack. That was a hard fight the first time because he drinks like 9 potions, moves, makes 2 or 3 attacks, and moves some more. That's on his first turn...

Well I am playing on Tactician, and I didn't weaken the boss either. But his stats were not what you stated. In my game, he has 26754 Phys Armor, 32328 Magic Armor, and 17017 HP. Where did you get those stats of yours?

Also, like you said, due to Perseverance, he is restored "like 8k armor" after recovering from knockdown, right? Well, 8k is indeed about 30% (Perseverance rank 6) of 26.7k. So what were you even talking about? Can you explain how exactly you "auto-lose", as well? I tried waiting a few turns and something bad happened, but not "auto-lose".

Just to confirm,

Tactician, he died after about 4 turns and the mobs took another 4-5.

Granted that was with lone wolf, which is legitimately broken.

All those potions ROFL. Potion spammer boss confirmed. Weird, though, in my playthrough he didn't use any kind of potions. In fact, he didn't do *anything* before I took him down. I got the distinct feeling that his behaviors are quite different depending on whether you have weakened him or not. Maybe he is tougher and has more goons, but less aggressive or something like that.

Try using permafrost on doctor while a character is speaking to him, that way he loses his first turn and you can kill him before he turns

I didn't weaken him, and the doctor didn't even attack. He just spams mind control on Lohse. With some "mind control immunity" stuff you can ignore him. Or teleport him into the side room, get his armor down, and CC fest him while you hold the minions at arms length.

That said, he totally took me by suprise - I retried that damn fight four times before figuring out the game.

He was pretty easy for me. First time I encountered him he had like 20k health and kicked my ass. Second time I snuffed all the souls etc and he only had like 1k health, which was easily a 1 shot at my level.

Aside from Cheesing the fight or abusing game mechanics (like making Lohse wear Skulk, a helmet making the wearer immune to charm), the most effective way that I have been able to handle the fight was through funelling through the door to the mansion, essentially making a choke point and forcing the enemies to go through there.

Main issue with that is that the boss will try to Charm Lohse from the 2nd or 3rd round of combat, and if it fails to do so, will try again in the following rounds, which with the mentioned helmet makes the demon do absolutely nothing, you will still earn full credit for the kill.
(Hopefully they will fix the above, but you never know)

I strolled up to house aggroed a nurse pulled the whole house, forgot about the special weapon you have and still walked away alive, if you got this far and havn't figured out how to win a fight you must of cheased the others as this is in no way the hardest fight in the game, stupid witch on cross and druid ritual in act 2 are far harder

What was the druid ritual? I can't remember.
