Radeka The Witch
Is anyone else finding it literally impossible to kill this woman? I tried about 15 times with a fully geared up level 6 party. I finally gave up, went away, killed some random guards as there was no more quests to do on the island and came back at level 7, and I still can't kill her. Is there something I'm missing here?

Killed her solo, tactician mode.
Probably you should review / change your strategy.

The best way to beat her is to have good mobility to jump on her and quickly knock her down as her physical armor is not her best attribute. Once she is down you can quickly kill her and then focus the beetles first as they do a ton of damage compare to the zombies. Zombies can be easily dealt with thanks to big magic all around no matter the element (air is not the best at that point in the game without a good rain first).

Hey there. If i remember correctly Radeka the witch is the woman in die Blood Rose cave. I wrote about her in my "Guide" for new Players: http://steamcommunity.com/app/435150/discussions/3/1495615865207649484/
i bested that fight by not fighting in her room, where the Bugs can shoot at you all the time. try luring them away from there and fight them on your Terms :)

Good luck!

Stay away from her and focus down the beetles. Get Clear-Minded or Enrage to get rid of charmed

The best strategy to defeating her is to have only 1 party member initiate the story while the other party members stay back. Position the 3 in the back so that you are right next to the bettle on the ledge. When fight starts you wont have to worry about moves and just attack. Now she witch will probably do nothing the first 3 rounds as it takes her forever to get to you and because your 1 party member is taking the full brunt of the damage. best to use a tank for that. And one by one focus fire each baddie down that comes to you. Hope this helps

The way I did it (Tactician Mode) is I had my entire party by the stairs and used a wizard with teleport. Teleported the witch onto my party and managed to burst her down before the help came running along.

I hadn't even considered teleporting her to me. That's a really good idea. I had noticed her physical armor was very low, but she kept using her necromancy spells (as well as the undead medat's healing spells) to sustain herself.

This is a very difficult fight. It really feels like it doesn't belong on noob island.

Well it's rather easy compared to most fights to come after Fort Joy. You really need to be super careful about your items equipped, spells learned etc if you want to make through the toughest fights.

What I did was run in there, kill the beetles and a zombie, then fled with 1 dude left. He came back and revived the others, healed up, and focused down that charming ♥♥♥♥♥. God I hate charm. xD, those damn beetles make it hard.

The key to winning basically every fight in the game that seems difficult is to have the first turn. Never neglect leveling Wits, remember that +Initiative or +Wits on equipment is more or less the best item mod you can have. In fact, it can be argued that leveling Wits is more important than leveling your primary damage stat(and if you're focusing Scoundrel, it's just straighforward).

Used the source dome thing. Grouped together in the bubble and took care of the beetles and zombies before taking her out. Got her second attempt at level 7

If you have the necromancy spell "raise bloated corpse" or any other spell that destroys corpses, you can use it on the corpse she's standing over. That keeps her from raising at the start of the fight.

I positioned characters with opportunity attacks next to her, then used raise bloated corpse in the dead guy. I was able to burn her down in 2-3 turns. Then I focused the beetles down.

Thanks to you all, humans of the internet! I have finally completed this fight. I took the advice of Draegon and teleported her into my party, who were waiting on a ledge. I then proceeded to unceremoniously curb-stomp her ass while her undead minions and beetle buddies looked on in horror.

♥♥♥♥ you, wizard ♥♥♥♥♥. I wasted an entire day on you.

Haha I'm glad it worked out for you :skyelaugh::thumbs:
