Seriously, Tactician mode is stupidly horribly balanced.
I honestly don't know how you guys spent so much time in development, with various forum posts pointing out the exact issues with the difficulty for months and still don't fix anything on release? How does that happen? Did ANYONE play test this entire game on Tactician? Because there's no way anyone should have thought "Yeah, this is a balanced challenge that pushes players to think" Because it really doesn't. There is nothing DIFFICULT about tactician, but there is something inherently wrong with my entire party being one-shot or perma cc'd. That is such horrible balancing.

My tank. Took 1100 damage. In one turn. And died. On the first turn. Against lv 11's while I was lv 11. What the ♥♥♥♥?! If my tank with 500+ P.Armor 300+M.Armor and +600 hp dies on the first round, how the hell is anyone else suppose to survive?! Whose ♥♥♥♥ing idea was this?!

Why is every other encounter against lv 14 eneimes. When, at most, you leave Fort Joy at lv 8-9. The only enemys you can fight are the void or a few magisters/paladins here and there. ANY story based encounter is an instant death encounter. Ran into Roost? He attacks you at lv 14. Dead. Red Prince meets his SO? Assassins pop out that are lv 14, Dead. Walking along the road? Guess what lv 14 assassins with a giant gas cloud that silences you on the first turn. Dead. Want to go the other way? Too ♥♥♥♥ing bad dwarve assassins with oil and fire against your♥♥♥♥♥♥Magic armor defense because the game has two armor systems. But hey, at least they were lv 11. Dead. Hey was that a talking scarecrow? That looks interesting TOO BAD YOU'RE ♥♥♥♥ING DEAD CAUSE LV 14. Who. Thought. This. Was. Ok.

I'm not even playing this mode for fun at this point, I'm just revelling in how poorly balanced it is. It's astonshing. WHEN, I finish this game (Through various cheeses because that's the only viable option) I don't want to hear any ♥♥♥♥ing person say git gud. Because I am. And this is still♥♥♥♥♥♥balancing.

The Ai should not be doing 1k+ damage to a single target at lv 11. Wtf.

Edit: It is not my gear. https://imgur.com/a/1uGNB This games balance is flawed. There is nothing more to it than that. If at lv 11 my tank with full purple and pink gear to his level, is being killed in one turn. Something is not right with your game. That's all there is to it.

I'm around your level and nothing in act 2 has troubled me so far. I'm playing a do-gooder, so I'm not robbing and killing everything.

have you tried using teleport (engage with teleport) when started a fight to put people out of place so they cant wombo you? Like getting rid of aeromancers or rangers is almost pivital.
Tactician is horribly balanced. It doesn't reward you for trying to play it smart and having good gear, it only rewards you for using cheese tactics.

Having a well-thought out build and characters rewards you a lot less than just throwing some barrels on the enemy.

This is definitely a balance issue.

Ok do Me a favor....

Anyone who is playing a two handed fighter with lone wolf, stop talking because i'm finding alot of people who are not struggling are abusing this build. Yes a two handed fighter, with lone wolf, can WALK through the game with out much effort. We get it, a two handed fighter can one shot people with lone wolf... and a str/wits build BUT not everyone is abusing this build IN fact most people aren't using this build.

So yes using a one shot build makes the game easy but the majority of people arent using that build... personally i am progressing in tactician but it requires me to kind of abuse systems in the game. Tele burning one guy and using play dead or flee, to break combat and slowly wittle enemies down so its manageable. Using tele to get 1 vs 1 fights, because the AI isn't bright enough to notice his friend just got yanked away from him.

Tactician isn't balanced to well... they really need to give us DOS 1 Tactican mode... its what we want, not 50% stat bloat.
Honestly...why bother with a shield when dual wield or two handed is so much better? Don't say twohanders inputs are invalid when the problem is that shields are so pointless in the first place. Summoners can do just as cheesy things, same with archers, and pyros. Damage is just that effective with how abilities work in this game.

You make it sound like you have to cheese tactician, but it really is just about not making silly mistakes and proper positioning. Nothing flashy required really.

The biggest "cheese" is having a summoner in the group, really, and that isn't even 100% required if you want to go for a more difficult experience.
I run double jump and teleport for repositioning enemies to my benefit on lone wolf build.I honestly dont think its possible otherwise as an undead physical team.
Honestly after getting to act 2, the game became very easy on tactician. If you rob everyone in town, you walk out with every skill, 100k gold, and all the gear you want. There is so much exp to aquire in town as well, and you can go west for some decently easy fights (I went to the dwarf/bug cave after doing mostly everything in town). I can't recall exactly what my party stats were at level 11, but yours does seem somewhat low, but not impossible. You may need to accept that the difficulty requires certain builds, and certain cheese but once you get past the small hump, you'll notice you overlevel the area quite quickly (im 15 doing level 12-14 quests still).

personnaly the act 2 is poorly explained a little int that going east is suicide coudl help a lot...

the damage scallign is also a bit of a problem...

ennemeis if the same level attack like they are in full pink gears...which is a bit annoying to say the least...ennemies with 5-6pa a turn and 50% more dps is quite annoying every strat i use turn around tping ennemies and assblasting a target each turn... whcih isnt much strategie at all...

Yeah, it's a thing bro. If there is a hard fight, it is normally tradition to run around the map and grab all of the oil and ooze barrels. Stack them up next to the enemy and fire bomb them.

Another common strat that became tradition was to cover the entire level area in oil, trigger the fight. And light the place on fire so the enemy has to run through it.
