Permanent Blindness

Peace of mind only works on regular blindness. Permanent blindness isn't the same.

Sorry, im from german. Dead the Charakter and Cure from permanent Blind? Its stupid, the charakter is very bad with -35% Präzision ;D

I am going to bump this - the new patch came out today, and I kept forgetting to kill my character and get the blind removed. It now doesn't work!! I resurrected him twice and the blindness came back. I am so screwed at this point. It is my main tank character, Beast. Any other ideas?

Depending on what you are referring to as a “tank”, one option is to just ignore it. Literally. A one handed/shield tank can invest into single handed to boost accuracy. Add in a venom rune to your neckpiece and you can boost your accuracy enough to offset the blind. You’ll not have any ability to cast ranged abilities outside melee range, but you can definitely make it work. Just get The Pawn as you’ll need the free movement since mobility skills become pointless. You’ll probably want +movement on gear when possible.

Didn't you keep that item from the arena that put you in perma blindness for the duration of the fight ?
If you have it, wear it and remove it, you should be cured from perma blindness.

Good advice. Though I guess I overstated him as a tank. But he is my main fighter. The accuracy advice is great, I appreciate it. I am frustrated that his skill range is limited though. I am seriously considering hiring someone to replace him.

I didn't, unfortunately. I wonder if that fix is also gone? The resurrect option worked before. They may have eliminated both.

I mean, the best option is simply to not do the thing that applied it in the first place. It isn't necessary by any means.

If you have a human in your party, use them. Rhalic is the god of the humans. He won't mess with a human.

I just had the problem of getting permantly blinded and got it removed after dieing and being resurrected :)
So, it still works

Jeez! Rhalic is a bastard! Here I thought to be selfless giving him my sight so that he could better fight against the void, but he intentionally just wanted to hamper me. The conniving bastard!

I mean, What made you think you could trust him?

Load your save again and use mask of the shapeshifter before praying rhalic

Or instead just recruit a human party member or use an existing human party member like ifen and talk to him. He will only blind non-human chars.
