Anyone else not get the Hero tag from Y*****? (early game spoilers)

I got the Yarrow flower, gave it to Migo on the beach, and then gave Yarrow his ring as proof of me seeing him. Apparently, this was supposed to get me the Hero tag, but it doesn't, even after reloading the game and trying again several times.

Did I run into a bug? Anyone else here experience the same thing?

I didn't get it on my first game, and had no idea it was a thing. Just started a new game with a friend, and we got it. Unfortunately my second game is on Reaper's Coast already, so going back to get it isn't an option.

Yeah it's not really that improtant. The amount of dialogue options it gives you is pretty miniscule compared to the tags you start with.

Got the Hero tag for winning in the Arena in Fort Joy.

You can also get it for refusing to give Griff the thiefs name during quest Imprisoned Elf.

You still gotta go back to the magister and give her the ring, that's when you actually get the Hero tag.

I got the hero tag in Reapers Coast. Save the lady by the bridge from the bug attack and you get the tag

I missed the tag at Ft. Joy but got it just after in Driftwood by helping a tinker escape town.

I just thought it was weird how I didn't get the tag even though I did exactly the same as a streamer I was watching did. I did get the tag later for standing up to Griff.

You can also get the hero tag in act 2

I have 2 hero characters so far + 1 villain which I got just by killing the innocent prisoners in FJ.

I'm guessing you get the Hero title after doing enough heroic deeds. (E.g. not murdering innocents etc.)

I'm guessing it follows rules similar to that of planescape torment for alignments, ask for gold every time you can, try to get the quest endings that kill quest givers, kill innocents, just be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in general.
