Alchemist House in Arx help

There's a door under the bed, but I can't seem to get the bed to move, I found the key but don't know what to do with it. Any help?

I did not get it open, but there is another way in. i THINK the sewer entrance is at the south east coast of the city. if i remember correctly its not far away from the alchimist house
just go down a to the small beach and there sould be a mechanical puppet nearby

Go inspect his junk pile closely. It's right outside.

I've entered the bedroom and heard the cue that I found something. I see the hatch under the bed glow. The switch outside does not appear. I've searched the sewers and can't find a path to the cellar. HELP!

It's on the (right?) side of the fireplace in the bedroom. The info that it's outside is no longer accurate.

There is a button in the room. Boost wits if you can't find it.

The problem I had was the fact that the button is on the right side but IS NOT VISIBLE from straight on. The fireplace mantle has a front face and a left face and a right face. The button is on the right face.
