Skill stat scailing.
How does it work? I made someone that started as an Inquisitor, and my Necro skills, and Warfare skills scaled off of INT. However, if I were to make a Knight with Necro and Warfare, the Necro skills still scale off of INT, while the Warfare skills properly scale off of STR

Warfare skills scale off of the weapon type, regardless of what it is. Not sure what Necro scales off of, but from what you're saying it's INT only.

So two-handed clubs/maces are INT based? I'm trying to figure this out for a build.

there are no classes in the game. with a "class" selection in the beginning you just choose you starting items
just move with the mouse cursor over the skill and you see what they do.
warfare give 5% more dmg to all physical attack. INT has nothing to do with it

No, that's strange. If you equip a STR based weapon, Warfare skills will benefit from STR since they're weapon skills for the most part. If you equip a Staff, they will benefit from INT, and FIN for Spears.

I was more talking about the Battering Ram skill as an example, it stated bonuses for INT when on Inquisitor, but STR for Knight.

no each weapon type has a stat that goes with it.

Daggers = finesse
Swords/maces both 1h and 2h variety = Str
Spears = fineese
wands = Int
Staffs = Int

what he ment by warfare scales off the weapon type is just that...if you are using a spear as your weapon and use warfare abilities then it will scale based off your finesse

Necromancer abilities themself scale off of Int but he passive of health regen doesn't care.

Hmm, I wonder why it was telling me INT related stuff when using the mace then? Maybe I'll figure it out one day.

But what were the weapons you had equipped then? If it stated INT, then your weapon must have been INT based, otherwise that's a bug.

I had a two-handed mace equipped.

Then yeah that's not normal. If you have a 2 handed mace equipped, Battering Ram should always scale off of STR.

Hmm. Alright. How important are the stats to the skills? Since they go of of basic attack damage as well? For example, how efficient would Necro skills be with little to no INT?
Euphytose Sep 20, 2017 @ 2:29pm
The ones that scale off of INT would deal next to no damage, but the ones that heal would still be useful.

Pretty sure some two handed hammers use int.
I said this to you in that other thread.

A couple people running necro/warfare builds on the other forums for this game use warhammers since some of them scale int.

Alright. Thanks. I figured as much.

What other thread? Post a screenshot of a INT based 2 handed hammer.
