Anyone killed Grog the Troll?

hehe :D me and my mate are about to try it and we are level 14 each. Should be easy enugh if we buff correctly and do op damage crits with ranged weopons. My friend can do 700+ damage a shot and gets to go twice in a row so we are pretty sure we can take him. Only reasen we havent done it yet is because we like him. he's a friendly troll and he only charges like 5 gold

At least on tactician mode, he charges 5,000 gold to pass. Furthermore, he's level 18 with 18k health and troll's blood that will regen his entire health if you don't constantly keep him under his weakness which is burning (read T is for Troll). My friends and I had to chain fire arrows, flame spells, lizard flame breath along with CC such as stun and charm since he's immune to knockdown and petrify.

Which one was Grog again? Killed the one to the west at lvl 12 (classic mode). It did take a week and a half, and I was just about to snap but... yea. Even took a screenshot!

That was Grog. How much HP did he have in classic?

Grog is the troll you should meet first that charges 5000 gold.... is he not?

The troll that has the cheap toll is weak against Poison

He had about 6.8k iirc (lvl 18).

When I fought him I was level 15 and he was level 18 as well, but had 18k in tactician.

I guess the difficulty multiplies health then. Probly armor scales too? He had around 1.1k or so armor with fortify. But yea at that level without kiting, I could have taken down maybe another 2k tops. It was a CC battle for me. Kept him blinded/stunned etc, used evasion avoid damage but he'd catch someone occasionally when everything was on cd. Didn't have the resources to keep the fight going much longer.

He heals for 6.8k hp per turn in tact with 18k HP, when u kill him he drops a legendary neck tier 4, killed him in 2 turns with Knight and Rogue with lone wolf

Shackles do wonders as he refuses to attack you if you use it

His loot is random. He dropped a tier 4 ring for me called Bloodspill.

oh...well in that case when we do that dificulty (clasic rigt now) we will definitly kill him.

tip: remove the poison near the roads and fill it with oil, now use an undead pyromancer to pull him a bit while setting the oil on fire and play dead.

He then runs around through the fire all you gotta do now is stand up and walk to where he was patroling before and attack him when he attempts to return as any normal npc does when out of combat. You get a good head start on slaying him like that.
