I understand but, now its just the opposite way around, I can buy whatever I want, or find it. But crafting them are a nuissance. Doesnt it need to be a bit more balanced, like we should be crafting pieces we cannot find? I honestly waited 5 levels until I found a proper STR chest for my 2h knight.
Resurection is a pretty handy craft!
The food, weapons, and armour are all useful. Food mostly for health reasons. Weapons and armour for gold, when you sell them.
You will find a few armour/weapon recipes, but I don't think, that you could combine something useful by yourself.
Well I can get you started in armor:
Needle+thread=Needle & Thread
Needle & Thread + Cloth, leather or metal scraps= mage/leather/chain armor (scales to level)
Anvil+scale scraps or plate scraps= scale/plate armor
metal scraps + wood chips= handmade shield
But really the best stuff I've gotten has been drops.
Craft weapons and armour, and then trade/barter for better stuff with the gold you make. Also, make sure you buff the barter ability, along with pleasing the seller. *You can also save before opening a chest that you suspect might have good valuables. Use your companion with the highest wit and/or luck to open it. If you don't like it, just close the game and reopen your last save. The contents usually change, sometimes for the better, or not.
The enhchant damage is pretty small, but it DOES add damage, so that's nice. Been doing it to all of my weapons.
I assume it also works with oil barrles, maybe? I haven't tried it.
You can use oil/water barrels similarly to make water/oil items but probably not worth lugging them around.
It works on crossbows. I haven't tried it on regular bows because I haven't found a good one yet.
I think it doesn't work if the extra element on your weapon is already poison though.
Materials rare.
Crafted items as far as I saw was weak. Lost in power to found or bying equal.
Example.
I made a knife 3-4 level. It was not magical. I didnot know how to make it magical.
I cost 57-59 money on selling. And I am a good in barter.
But weaponory in the shop of a lisard in cave near the kitchen was wider in choice. Later in game on the second island shop choice are more wider.
In Original Sin 1 I crafted a weapon, and it was enough for 2-3 levels next. For this moment in Original Sin 2 for craft is no motivation - thing wauld't be better than analog of level. By the way, I search and buy books of craft, trying not to miss any.
But this now is only a habit of true full game and fair play.
Command researchers failed this part of a game from my oppinion.
I suggested them to fix, and show them a steppes. We will wait and see.
Far as I can tell? It's a permanent enchant.
Nice! I'll try it first thing!
