how to forge giant runes?

i tried to use two larges+ pixie dust.
but it only works on med/large, cant get the giant one.

How do you get superior pixie dust?

superior pixie dust comes from superior star dust (superior stardust herb + mortar/pestle) and bone dust (any bone or skull + mortar/pestle). the superior stardust herb is a pain in the ass to find; my characters are level 20 and i've only ever found a single one in chapter 3.

There was one quest, and I don't remember which (around level 15-16), that gave me like, 5-7 Superior Stardust herbs. Maybe I killed someone? I just know I was surprised to find a bunch
