Shouldn't be necessary though. I finished the fight on tactician a few days ago and it took me a few tries.
Here is what I learnt:
To win the second fight, it's important to do well in the first one:
Use the thunderstorm early to get massive cc on your opponents early (will stun everyone)
Do NOT kill dallis or braccus as this will trigger the second fight. Try to CC them and kill everyone else. Then regenerate and wait till your Cooldowns are ready again.
After than kill braccus and start the second fight. If you are lucky the void thing will behave a bit different now (not summoning everyone in the first turn).
The fight is one when braccus is killed. So try to focus on him.
One way is to use the skill which removes the armor when you got more armor than your opponent. That's just one hit and your enemy is down to HP. Then try to finish him with physical attacks (Neco mosquito swarm and plage for example) also use the should throws where possible.
It's not easy but certainly doable. :)
unleash all source skills on braccus you should kill him by round 2-3. Make sure you have chameleon cloak/uncanny evasion on most chars and leave one ap.
kill Braccus all his cronies are gone, then just focus on the rest dragon/lucian/archer once you have finished the fight you will think ha easy.
On another note try and get all your characters critical hit chance up to 50%+ by putting points into wits/gear make sure you have weapons with plus 10% crit hit chance (even at a lower damage number) and use savage shortilage on any spell casters. Equip slottable items with giant runes of flame + those frames you pick up all over.
Vendors also restock every hour so you will get more items to chose from.
1. Cheese the fight by killing Braccus in stage 1. He has an HP threshold where he initiates the second stage with the kraken. I'm not sure what it is, maybe 4000, something like that. If you get him down to just above that threshold and then 1-shot him for all his remaining HP he dies and the game is won. Note that's one hit, not one turn.
2. You kill Braccus in stage 2 - that's all you've got to do, the rest are irrelevant. The most effective way to do this is with Hail Storm, Arrow Storm and Thunderstorm. I think he is pretty buffed against Meteor Strike.
Having Dallis, Lucian etc around is not necessarily a bad thing in stage 2, they will fight Braccus and his adds and so give you leeway to mount a full on attack against Braccus.
The two big problems to overcome are that Braccus teleports from tower to tower very awkwardly thereby escaping every turn and that if you get up onto his tower to attack him, and perhaps knock him down or otherwise incapicitate him, the damn kraken will show up behind him and murder you with various horrible AoEs.
This is why the three big 3SP abilities are the main weapon against him. I have seen him killed with one Hail Storm and one Arrow Storm on Youtube after a significant amount of his physdical armour had been removed by a melee assault.
One key tactic to pull it off is to Resurect your chars who can cast Arrow Storm, Hail Storm and Thunderstorm (if they are dead, obviously) on top of a tower in line of sight of his current tower at the right moment. The thing is they get their turns pretty much straight away, so even if they're still almost dead they can still get those killer spells off. So having a good stack of Rez scrolls on everyone can be pretty handy.
Another useful thing for stage 2 is having a stack of invisibility potions so you can go dark immediately and move into good positions to assult him without interfereence although you've still got to watch out the damn kraken, maybe save scum a bit to avoid it's nasty AoEs. It usually does the same thing repeatedly from the same position.
Bascially you've got to focus purely on a plan to kill Bracuus by hook or by crook and forget the rest of his adds and the Lucian/Dallis crew.
You can make 20+ them with ease (if stacked regs due game) plus buy some. Combined with tea will make even your quite uneffective party (because effective one one-shotting that fight, lol) immune to all but physical.
P.S. Thunderstorm (especiall - 2-3 of them) make that fight insanely easy. Arrow Storm too if you will abuse Braccus death as trigger.
This fight is a mess. Even though I went hostile against everyone, Lucian is supposed to attack Braccus too, and his minions should attack Lucian and co. Thing is, they Never do. Everyone is focussed on my party, all the time.
In the first round, Fane gets butchered, then Red Prince and then eventually my main and Ifan.
It's an incredibly tedious fight that partially relies on luck with what skills they all use and when ...
Gear progression is also a massive brick wall in this game. Randomized loot is 99% outdated garbage by the time you find it, so it's Very possible that I am just terribly undergeared because I forgot to check every vendor on the map every 5 minutes.
Edit: scrap that, beat the fool.
Win.
Basically I won thanks to saves and different behavior of the ai everytime I loaded a save.
About the ending
(SPOILER ALERT!!!)-
I wasn't satisfied, cause even though I became the divine, half of the stuff went wrong. What about your endings? Did voidwoken killed off Driftwood in your story for example?
(END OF SPOILER)
BTW thanks for the advices, some of them helped.
Yes. Ending in game is messed completely : I'm okay with grim dark endings, but show it at least.
Say something like "despite all heroes efforts to save peoples ... blah blah blah".
Current version is too sudden and seem-to-be-random.
If you want to make it easy just pretend like you're going to sacrifice yourself and skip the first phase. After Braccus and them kill each other then you can just pick whatever ending you want with no real consequences

For the combat I played the whole game with a regular group and without saving/loading in the game. That would have made several interesting encounters trivial.
