It's even worse with a controller too, despite the controller interface being good enough I prefer it for general play. I'm kind of shocked there is no way to select multiple items to move at once. Even something like wanting to transfer ingredients to one specific container seems to not only require manually moving each item but also won't automatically stack existing items. The workaround is I'm going to turn the "send to Lady Vengence" chest into my stackable item storage, but it's still remarkably tedious.
Rather than a "Seriously?" response, frankly I think this is one of the biggest reasonable complaints people have.
For controller play, it's bad enough to simply move items between considers I exist to the title screen and switch to controls temporarily. It's a shame, but otherwise for the most part I think the game is absolutely excellent. It's odd considering searching for a solution to this I found topics from years ago about the previous game in the series, regarding the exact same problem. Considering the polish the game has in my opinion, it's a pretty glaring oversight.
A topic like this is good however, because people can discuss any workarounds/solutions. Is there any good solution to the inventory management?
Beyond that, a 'Send All Wares' function would be adequate, or even a '♥♥♥♥ off, keys' or dedicated keyring would be nice, too.
At the very least I agree with Hobocop, when you sort by wares, there should be a mechanic or button to allow you to move them from one character to another.
