If you go to the black pits, Jonathan is there if you told him not to kill him and I believe that concludes his quest. But he does say the thing about dealing with his own demons until the next act if I remember, even after quest is closed, so I think you've finished his quest.
Damn, didnt know that was a possible option, so that means that Garteh's parents are definately dead right?
Probably depends on if you kill Jonathan? If I remember, he was the one who killed the parents.
So who are those guys hiding behind the cart?
They are called Lyn and Conway Pryce, presumably Gareth's parents?
>> Got the same problem here: I killed Jonathan in the house just south of "Driftwood fields" waypoint, Gareth stomred off onto the Lady Vengance muttering something about inner demons (can't be talked to), the two people around Gareth's Family Farm are very much alive, after I cleared the house of some beetles. After they get back into the house, no more dialogue possible.
I think the devs just didn't complete this quest.
