Spread wings broken?
I casted spread wings on my character, then walked over necro fire and took damage. What is the point of floating if all ground surfaces damage me? Is this a bug? Is this intended and I just intepreted the skill wrong?

Apparantly broke on last update. Dont use polymorph myself, but many people here have complained about the same thing.

I was under the impression that moving with wings made you immune to ground surfaces. Flying and landing on a hazard then recieveing damage makes sense. Not floating over it and taking damage.

you still take damage...which doesn't seem fair. Still nice to have to fly around though...

Really? THAT's where you're drawing the "realism" line for magically sprouting wings from a character's back?

I don't give a crap what the animation shows, the description says you are immune from surfaces so you should be.

Hm after some testing, I think I was flying through an electrified cloud. I'm a friggin idiot to not see it. I think its working as intended.

It's not, or rather if it IS "working as intended", then it should be changed. If you are over a ground (not a cloud) surface at the end of a flight, you are hit for damage. That should be changed, it kinda defeats one of the major points of the skill.

I've also heard reports of it also affecting characters who are in mid-leap, and not touching the ground.

I think the issue is that when you are standing still you land, which makes the "surface immunity" not as good as it should be as it only works while walking.

JUST CONFIRMED - IF YOU WALK THROUGH lets say oil, with wings you are not slowed. but if you click on the oil or stop atop oil, you will get slow debuff. INTERESTING

Yes, that might be "working as intended", but it's just a really dumb design decision which kinda defeats half the point of it.
