Really? THAT's where you're drawing the "realism" line for magically sprouting wings from a character's back?
I don't give a crap what the animation shows, the description says you are immune from surfaces so you should be.
Hm after some testing, I think I was flying through an electrified cloud. I'm a friggin idiot to not see it. I think its working as intended.
It's not, or rather if it IS "working as intended", then it should be changed. If you are over a ground (not a cloud) surface at the end of a flight, you are hit for damage. That should be changed, it kinda defeats one of the major points of the skill.
I've also heard reports of it also affecting characters who are in mid-leap, and not touching the ground.
Yes, that might be "working as intended", but it's just a really dumb design decision which kinda defeats half the point of it.
