Band of Braccus ring

Has anyone figured out how the Band of Braccus ring is meant to function?

So I found it and wore it and it applied the curse, fine. I then blessed the character and took the ring off and I was free to equip it and unequip it at will. it would temporarily apply the curse when I equipped it and debuff my stats but then my stats would return to normal while retaining the buff to intel and constitution.

Now I get to Driftwood and the character wearing the ring has the debuffs applied again and even casting bless does not get rid of them when the ring is on.

Was the ring bugged at first when I managed to wear it without the debuffs? Or is it bugged now in that I can't stop the debuffs from being applied?

Anyone tried giving it to Rattus Veritas in the tower yet?

Maybe it just works as intended, as described? What I read in-game were warnings about not equipping the entire set and so I haven't.

It's supposed to be an easy way past the maze, and to curse you if you try to use it.
It is not a part of the armor set.

Band of braccus isnt part of the artefacts of the tyrant set.

Once you put it on you have a debuff whenever you take it off. it lasts forever

Yeah I got the debuff when I took it off, blessed to remove the debuff, then put the ring back on and only got the buffs minus the debuffs. Then when i got to Driftwood the debuffs were back with no way of getting rid of them as long as you are wearing the ring.

Didn't try giving it to the rat. Way past that bit now, what happened?

That sucks I was hoping to heal/remove the curse from my character, instead I have to pump him up with items to even out his stats.

No big deal dude. Better rings come along then you can forget about that sh*tty ring and throw it away :)
