Soul Wolf and Incarnate

So, just because I got a disappointing surprise when I finally got Ifan's collar off, I thought I'd warn anyone else just starting out. If Ifan is a summoner, he can either summon his soul wolf OR his incarnate. Not both.

I actually made him a summoner exactly BECAUSE his wolf scales with summoning skill and I assumed he could have both minions out. Bad assumption. Doh.

Same goes for any other summon. Bone widow, eagle and so on. One pr. person.

Thank you very much. I googled "conjure incarnate and summon ifan's soul wolf" to find a reason to exactly this before making him a summoner :)

Just keep in mind that the spell Supercharger kills your summon for a huge damage boost. When used late game on a buffed incarnate using a source infusion you'll deal massive damage, then need an alternative summon. Summoning needs that kind of gameplay to stand any chance of keeping up with other builds as it falls off very hard late game.

It can still be worth having the wolf later. That, or just mod the summon limit. Sure, that buffs summoning, but the skill needs a buff for later game anyway.
