only skill traders are decent but who needs skill books by this time?
Never had any issue gearing myself in arx.
he's hard to get to
unless you consider equiping yourself with golden forks and spoons is the way to go...
trying to find better gear I have done all the quests in the area and still have some okay gear on my 4th toon
Again, never have issues gearing myself in arx. OP's question was for a vendor where he could get gear for his last character. I told him how many vendors that actually sell gear are in arx.
Ive beaten the game 3 times now and each time have had zero issues gearing my characters in arx through the use of vendors.
you can invest in the pawn talent and other mobility skills like tactical retreat, cloak and dager, pheonix dive and etc.
I gave my 2h warrior the anathema. tactical retreat to the throne thing, then pheonix dive to the platform. adrenaline. onslaught. GG...
you litterally don't even have to do anything if you want just hide in a corner and let lucian and dallis kill braccus
most vendors in arx dont even sell gear or only 1-2 pieces at most like those in front of kemms house. how are they considered "good"?
op's question is where to find a good verdor in arx. the simple answer is none.
only tarquin who is technically.nit in arx offers a full range of euipment. that is nowhere even comparable with fort joy, driftwood and nameless isle where you have multiple traders that sell everything.
your having no problem gearing yourself has nothing to with the fact that arx has no GOOD trader. if you still dont understand the logic...wahtever...
the vendors by kemms sell uniques that are still quite good depending on what youre doing, the 5 vendors in the main square all sell things for various archetypes. the 2 near the cathedral also sell uniques that are above average.
Specifically those 4-5 vendors in the main square can gear you by themselves. If i can gear my characters solely with those vendors, then others can as well.
Since vendor inventory is randomized they will not always have "good" gear in them but they sell gear and can have good gear.
I forgot to mention that if you dont end up killing the doctor you can use him as a vendor and he typically has tarquin-grade gear.
