What are the differences between wizard and enchanter besides the starting spells and skills?

There's no actual difference besides that, it's just starting preset.

You could even choose "Wizard" and then remove all of the skills and attributes and redistribute them into two handed and warfare.

The only difference is what skills they start with, there is no class system. Even warrior and wizard is no other difference than a couple of skils they start with.

And once you get past tutorial island you get free infinite respec, so you can turn a full onn tank into a glass cannon mage if you want to at any time.

I believe the only thing the preset really does is decide what weapons go into one of the chests on the ship near Wendigo
