Garvan's supplies

So I think I've found the area of the attack and there was a chest which I opened and looted. In my journal it says I've found the supplies. But when I return to Garvan he doesn't say anything new, tells me I'm still looking.

I believe you need to carry the whole crate back to him (with or without supplies in it) to trigger the next stage with him.

There aren't any crates there you can carry - by which I mean being able to put into your inventory. Unless you mean dragging the thing all the way back to Driftwood, which would be absurd. Which crate are you talking about exactly? The one under the bridge?

That crate you took his stuff from - right click that crate and pick it up.
Oh and use spirit vision near the crate for fun times.

You have to take the crate back to him even if it's empty.
