Soul Mate
The fact that I can't find anyone else complain about this makes me think not everyone has this, but soul mate does not work for me. All it does is clear the 4 statusses, but the buff does nothing. The target never gains any armor or health with the buff.

I never really use the spell but i got reminded of it when I saw an enemy cast it and magic shell after it. Their target received nothing.

Has anyone used this spell succesfully?

My results show no armour gain whatsoever, which is a shame, had planned using this and bone cage together, alas, it provides only healing. Interesting that you've seen an enemy cast those skills together. Probably a bug then, best to report it.

Yea I made a pure Necro character and the only thing this spell seems to do is share healing effect at least that seems to be the only thing I noticed it having an effect on.

I would also like to add that this still hasn't been fixed for me :/ Tried a lot of ways but it seems not to work. Dev attention to this would be great as it's an interesting spell.

I use it with success all the time. Soul mate + shields up is a great combo I use to keep my 2h knight up and in the fight.

People, please keep in mind that Soul mate states "Bind yourself to target character, copying any healing and Armour RESTORATION that you receive to them. Clears Frozen, Stunned, Knocked Down and Petrified."

Restoration as in "Shields Up", "Mend Metal", "Soothing Cold", however "Fortify", "Armour of Frost" for example PROVIDES armour.

tldr: It works as intended.

Edit: For more interactions with Soul Mate, I'd like to refer to this thread: https://steamcommunity.com/app/435150/discussions/0/1699415798776578239/

Allright, finally some clarity then.
I still think its a little odd for Larian to differentiate those words. If I remember correctly you get to keep the armor gained from Armor of Frost even after the buff and max armor fall of, so in a way it restores too.
