[Spoilers] Arx and a certain NPC.
So I managed to convince Kemm to not kill Deselby, she went into prison and all was good.

Later I find out that Kemm (and possible other paladins) is actually a servant of the god king, now I'm worried about Deselby.

But I can't seem to find any option to let the paladins know that Kemm is also a traitor, or any option to free Deselby from the prison through dialogue.

I lockpicked her cell and entertained the guards while she ran away, she vanished but her wife still doesn't acknowledge that Deselby is free.

---

Is this an oversight not planned by the developers? Or am I missing something and Deselby can be found somewhere in Arx after she runs away?

It's a thought that didn't occur to me, so it would be nice to expand on it, just like my post about the worried mother in fort joy, but it's more than likely is content that got cut or just overlooked.

That being said, I think the logic is that majority of paladins wouldn't believe you, I mean who would you believe? A commander that you've grown to trust and is actively attacking the current enemy a.k.a. magisters, people you thought you could trust, or the outsider that just exclaimed that your commander is a traitor. You would need someone in bigger standing in the group and doubtful of their commander. Otherwise the others are in league with him.

I agree with that, though we do find Kemm's journal where he states that Dallis has no idea about his allegiance, that + the vault and shrine to the god king + who knows what else the npcs can find could potentially prove as enough evidence to support our claim.

Would be fun seeing this kind of stuff added on hopefully an Enhanced Edition. (one can dream)

I told kemm that I knew about his allegiance, he attacked me so I had to kill him. None of the paladins seemed to care or notice. I would also consider that an oversight.

Dallis was not working for the god king. that was just kemm's misunderstanding assuming Dallis was his ally.

to OP, that was just an oversight.

I freed DeSelby like you did but managed to speak to her as she was running away to freedom. She actually updates the quest "The Vault of Linder Kemm" and gives a little insight into Kemm's behaviour. But as you mention, speaking to her wife Marie afterwards doesn't acknowledge that she has been freed.

Lord Kemm working for the God King, doesn't exonerate Deselby. The evidence your characters find is still the reason that the Paladins attack the Magisters. I.e. even if Lord Kemm wasn't sworn, they would still have to arrest or slay all the Magisters. She didn't just spare the lives of the Magisters, she lets them escape. That's dereliction of duty. She might not deserve death, but she still deserves some punishment.
