This chart is awesome btw, just confused of the purpose due to your secondary comments
their damage is typical level 20. the only thing they lack is runes.
Spells do not get this possibility.
Nice chart though.
that sounds intentionally since fire is the only magic school without disables
But they don't because everything has fire resistance and nothing has physical resistance. And fire mages are going to cause friendly fire wile physical damage does not. And physical has CC while fire does not.
And all these physical damage on this are apparently without any equipment so they're all way lower than they would be when you have a weapon.
no damage in this chart is optimized. the character, before i respecced him, did around 10k damage with supernova... the purpose is comparison, not showing how much dmg every class can do at max
Oh I see.
This isn't min/maxing.
This is an attempt of fair comparison (ie, no runes, equivalent stats, no gear biasm etc)
Did anyone really ever argue that?
Go into Game Master mode and make lvl 25 characters /weapons (make white versions - they will have no variations).
People say rangers do more damage than knigts but it isn't true. Look at the base weaopn damage for bow vs 2H melee and you will see a huge difference.
Huntsman damage being tied to height makes it very easy to negate. Ok they can use sky shot and then after that the 10 points in huntsman give them 0% extra damage.
-------------------------------------
2h melee does less dmg than any elemental magic school unless you buff it with +dmg runes and add enemy resistances.
-------------------------------------
+str runes or items dont count since there are as many +int items
-------------------------------------
--> most weapons dont have runeslots
--> those that do are outdated after a single levelup, making it actually hard to constantly have an up to date weapon with runeslots
--> the only real advantage of physical damage is that enemies never have resistances, which is huge, i admit that, but still not as huge as people make it out to be.
