Tips on Braccus Rex Fight Act 3? (Spoilers)

So, I've reached Dallis, Lucian, and the Cloaked figure (AKA Braccus Rex), attempted the fight a few times and "nearly" won, but lost due to the Kraken, and due to the AI being dumb as mud, cause of course they'd prefer to attack the furthest enemies away from them, even if it means using all their AP, while at the same time, Braccus, and his Kraken/Minions attack me as well.

Can anyone suggest some tips that would help me?

Currently I'm running;

- Lohse= Warfare/Geo
- Sebille= Scoundrel/Dual Daggers
- Main Hero= Ranger/Necro
- Main Hero= Summoner/Hydro

All my gear seems to be up-to-date, the only annoyance in this battle is being targeted by two factions, whilst they ignore each other completely. I can even teleport them near each other, without them doing a single thing to one another.

I'd appreciate some tips. Thanks in advance.

Best is really to just stock up on teleportation scrolls and keep putting them next to each other and kill kraken and dallis

well killing Braccus kills his minions and kraken so you need so survive his turn and burst him

try leadership for extra survivability

So a couple of things. Geo is only good if you have high int; warriors need high strength. Change her to warfare, 2 points poly, 1-2 points geo (fortify and earthquake - poison wave is amazing if undead). Fortify is still worth casting with only 1 point in geo.... this is stupid but that is how it works.

Ranger needs more points in warfare than huntsman. I know this sounds strange but trust me. I played around in game master mode for hours.... warfare > huntsman until you get about more than 20 points in it. Only use minimum huntman for the basic shots you need. Keep like 2 points in necro on every character. More than that is a waste b/c necro scales with warfare not points invested.

Summoner gets weak around level 15 and I imagine in the mid 20's it gets worse. You have a physical party so make blood and summon the blood version.


On your summoner make sure you are using deep freeze. It is stupidly strong as it does high damage and freezes people with 1 cast if your damage is high enough.


This fight is a joke on classic with lone wolf.... but I know the game is harder in 4 man parties.

That is true, but, have to specify the fight some how. And if Spoilers ruin the game for people, just don't click it, or ignore the forums all together. Simple as that really.

If you didn't know it was the final fight, I really question if you have followed the story at all. 8)
But for most players, that have not yet been in act 3, Braccus Rex is considered dead, so....

as for the fight itself: focus down Braccus and try to stay alive somehow, the fight is not enjoyable at all, so many enemies, every turn come more and the kraken does tons of damage if it decides to spit.

Concentrate on end boss and ignore all others. Maybe teleport plus Anathema works for you.
