All in the family quest, tarquin "stuck"
alright so it's time for my party to leave act 2 and malady is saying that not everyone is on the ship. she says tarquin is off to stonegarden to do stuff

funny thing is, is that i've already collected both parts of the sword he is looking for, and gave them both to him. AND "all in the family" is marked as closed in my journal. but he is outside stonegarden saying "Let me think. A sprinkling of skulldust. A vial of dog's drool. Dried illweed. A few more odds and ends, and I can get back to the ship."

and my only dialogue option is (end). so what do i do here? is my only option to leave him behind because it's bugged?

hopefully the next 4 gig patch fixes this quest.

well, according to the wiki it only gives a super two hander that has one durability? so i'm contemplating just killing him and leaving the act. i'm not gunna stall my playthrough caues of one annoying bug. sucks though cause he's a necromancer vendor you get to have on the ship, oh well.

Oddly enough, it was working before the patch. I had turned in the quest (after reloading a much earlier save to work around the him never appearing issue) and he was on the ship and all was well. Now he's decided to hit the graveyard again.

Sighs. I'm starting to hate Tarquin.

Can confirm. Latest patch removed him from the ship and sent him searching for dog spit on the north side of the graveyard. Won't get the achieve for the ultimate sword this playtrough then, since i have to leave him on the island.

You dont need Targuin to go to the next act.

Same issue here. The only thing to do was to tell Malady to set sail anyway. And alas, Tarquin is not on the ship upon arrival at the Nameless Isle.

i mean you can leave him there if you want. pretty sure you never see him again either way. so i killed him for the money and gear
