Where is the closest shovel?

I'm just outside Fort Joy by the marshes and I have no shovel. I DID have one but i don't anymore. I got the one from the start by that destroyed wall near the shore.

Now I found two spots that require digging and am without a shovel. And no I do not have the Lizard as a companion.

Is there a shovel anywhere close by because this is bothering me thinking of simply walking past all this potentiial loot....

uhh if i remember right is a little area looks like a broken down bridge, is a path that leads up and is a shovel and a bedroll there.

I can't remember any other shovel locations other than the one located on that destroyed section of brdige before you enter fort joy, near the Hidden Alcove entrance.

If you can't find one, you can always make one by combining a bowl and a long branch

Warp to Fort Joy Square,and go to the doctor,outside of the elf's cave there is a dog and a small pond,there should be a shovel nearby.

just combine the 2 items, you don't need recipes to make anything and the recipes you recieve from books and NPCs and such are mostly there to inform you of the combinations.

the closes shovel is probably the lizard who is 20 meters next to the digging spot near the shore.

outside of fortjoy, from the side you first come in, on one of the broken bridges there's a shovel you can reach.

In the cave where the frogs are, there's a shovel on the right side. I believe it won't trigger the frogs appearing if you pick it up.

There's also a shovel near Griff, which is where I always pick up mine. You need to sneak to take it though or they will see you and subsequently attack.

It was Baladir, the coffin maker in Fort Joy
