Do affected wake up if damaged by burning / poison status effects?

If they take any damage beafore their turn starts they wake up, but if they are burning and you make them sleep they will lose their turn since the damage only happens once it's their turn.

But the sleep (=>skip turn) also applies once it's their turn, doesn't it?

the damage happens on there turn yes, but it registers the sleep status effect first, thus preventing action that turn in the event so said target is sleeping in fire. judging by ur q im guessing u wanna try it out on grog and the other troll. yes, it works, 100% cheesable

Chloroform is one of the most useless skills in the game. It typically cannot strip magic armor on its own and requires it to have been partially removed typically by an elemental caster first. Why even bother with that generic two step issues when you can simply have a Rogue Backlash > Rupture Tendons > Chicken and be done with the enemy?

Oh so you figure it will be too late by then. Hmm.

Thanks. Not exactly what I had in mind but good to know. It's just that I have a fire/geo+torturer wizard and wanted to know if it's even worth using chloform in that team. If you're right then I see a chance.

a) Because that is a 5 AP melee combo (with a cooldown) vs a 1AP ranged ability.
b) Because you can throw chloroform bottles from outside of combat while you're in sneak mode waiting for your chance to enter the fight.

Not useless at all imo.

Not to mention it gives you some crossover capabilities so your rogue isn't useless against targets with stripped magic armor and can support magic damage users.

But against high physical armor enemies the chicken does not work, that's why I like to use terrify since the chicken doesn't run away sometimes and works with low magical armor. Chloroform cost only one AP, has a really big range and some times the armor breaking helps.
