Swornbreaker info (spilers)

I got the swornbreaker from arx. I obviosly missed some dialogue and some story points because I dont really know what it is. I know it was mentioned all over part 3 and got all parts but the haft. But I got one from arx in the vault. I equipped it and used the skill, something about severing myself from the godwoken. Can anyone explain to me what this is? Did I screw up and waste it? Its red with 0/20 durability, is there a way to repair this? The traders and hammers wont work. Can anyone give me some info without spoiling too much please?

Yep, you wasted it. But considering you have no clue what to use it on, you didn't need to use it. It severs the bond between a Sworn and the God King.

You need it for certain npcs to break their sworn to a certain someone

Thanks for the replies. I am aiming for the good guy ending and I hope I wont need it at the end for something. So if there is no harm in wasting it then I am fine. I am curious on who I use it on and when. What is the impact on the story?

Is this a second swornbreaker or is it only in Arx if you never found the pieces by act3?

Not necessary for Good Guy End if you dont follow the Godking. In Game you become 2 of this special Weapons..one on the Act 3 and one in Arx.
You need the first for a femalePerson to join your Shipcrew aand free her from the Godking.

I missed the haft in act 3. So it was the only one from Arx. On the 2nd playthrough I will be experianced. The quests in this game are annoyingly cryptic. Not in method but only in turning in and closing. Then all these quest intermingle with eachother.

Hi everyone,

Just figured out how to repair the swornbreaker. With the new giftbag addition to the game, you can use the Azure Flint to "Update" the broken swornbreaker to your level... thus fixing it and upgrading it.

There are two Swornbreakers in the game, even if you collect all parts and/or give it to Almira, it will be in Kemm's vault still.
