Even I feel bad about having to kill the last of a specie ya know.

Anyone at all passed this check?

EDIT: respec and maxed it to 7 persuation with 35 wits...still failed

at this point i am sure its bugged tried it with 7 persuation and it failed on all encounters , i too felt bad killing a majestic cat .

There is an older post on this and all three checks fail no matter what. I think they claimed there was a way to end it without fighting but I don't remember the details.

Yeah, nope. I tried the one thing they suggested to may work and it didn't.
Ifan sheds some more light because he's an involved party but the check is ridiculous as always.
Some guys even mentioned that the check is set to Impossible in the system.

I hate it when devs throw fake persuation checks at us ... I hope they at least gave us the illusion of success like in Alice Alison's case. This is just low.

Someone looked at the game's files, and apparently the Tiger's persuasion check is set to impossible.

Nope not even with 6 persuasion and 70+ wits you can do it, it's just made to fail

They either forgot and left it unfinished, or they intentionally made it so you would fail. Sometimes people and tigers just have their mind made up and not even a crisis negotiator can talk them out of it.

I never thought about this before, and I've not sure if anyone confirmed this, but can an elf successfully persuade the tiger?

I came across the forest tiger myself and I suspect due to a fault in my save game, I got to see the result screen of the persuade attempt.

My character currently has 6 levels in Persuade


The Tiger requires a Persuade level of 99.


Larian are probably messing with us.

What happens when you have lvl 99 persuade?
Anyone used cheat engine or something to reach that?

I am going to try offering the swornbreaker to the tiger, or just talking to the tiger whilst holding the swornbreaker. Its the covanent that is not allowing the persuasion attempt.

It’s like Alice the witch - even if you succeed in persuading her she still attacks you. But in this you can’t succeed at all.
