Will there be any reference to Beyond Divinity, will we meet the paladin who saved Damian from his banishment to Nemesis ?

This is correct, I read the "beyond divinity" wrong. I was thinking about the original. My mistake.

Aside from that, I'd say we don't know much yet, We only got Act 1 in the Early Access and they added some throwbacks to the Original ( which is what I was talking about ) so anything can be in there after Act 1 and the revisions they added to it.

During the kickstarter it was said we wouldn't run in to Damian, but that was before they changed where DOS2 sits in the timeline, so anything goes.
