Does "Lucky Charm" affect the entire parties luck?
Or just for that character?

I would say that it's perfectly useful on any character as long as that's the one you loot with. Lucky Charm doesn't seem to trigger on looting corpses, either, so I think it's just for opening chests/crates/barrels and such. So put it on whoever you like, but have them do the looting. Doesn't have to be your avatar.

You don't like loot?

With Lucky Charm in the 5 or 6 range, you find epic and legendary items continuously inside barrels and other containers. Very useful skill to have.

Actually, it's one of the best tertiary skills.

You just need to not be gimp and have +6 in Fort Joy and +9 in Driftwood ASAP.

I heard a rumor that patch 5 will share lucky charm between your characters. No more hours spent adding to wares and sending to barterer. Fingers crossed

Sigh.

I have x2 sets of gear for my chars: one for combat, the other for adventuring. It's not exactly hard to switch gear when a fight is coming up.

The fact that lazy children can't deal with this "omfg so complex" switching is sad.

Switching between 2 sets of gear for fights and exploration doesn't really add anything to the game, it's tedious and annoying. A lot of people would like the current system changed, it's no different from wanting them to make it so things don't automatically get put on your action bar, it's all quality of life improvements.

There is absolutely no difference between having to send items to one character to sell, and being able to sell items for the same price on all characters, other than the latter system being more player friendly.

Yep, totally the same.

I totally don't switch my gear on a front fighter between fighting a Fire Based Mob and an Ice Based Mob.

It's totally tedious and annoying to have to have separate gear for this.

Let's just make elemental resistance a single score and just add it so it combats *ALL* elements.

Because, obviously, it's just tedious and annoying to switch gear.

Seriously: go away. You are teh cancer that killed decent games and made Fallout 4 happen.

No, 100% serious: you are that person.

That's not even remotely similar, but i'm not going to bother trying to reason with someone who's got their head so far up their own ass that they can't see past their own ♥♥♥♥.

You literally are demanding that cRPGs become Fallout 4.

Switching gear for a situation is too hard now? How about we just remove the crafting system, prune down the civil skills and then make it so Lone Wolf can solo the game?

How's about we make sure that there's no real stat checks ingame (I mean, whooo, 23 wits to spot something is *REALLY HIGH* isn't it? Let's make sure that all gear, even Divine Tier level 22 stuff only requires 15 in a stat, eh? Don't want to make it *TOO HARD* for the newbies, eh?)

How's about we remove any serious requirement for elemental resistance, make sure that summoning is "stream-lined" and easy (let's make sure it's only a single choice, with perhaps a necro choice that **NO-ONE IN EA FLAGGED AS BROKEN** and on top of that, I don't know, let's make sure that there's absolutely no content that any character cannot do, because that would "discriminate" against the casual player.

Oh. Wait. Larian did all that due to muppets like you in EA.

You are that person.

No, really: you are teh cancer.

What are you going on about? The idea is that the party member who has the highest lucky charm skill will share that benefit with the rest of the party, similar to how loremaster works. This has nothing to do with gear swapping.
