Where to start on reapers coast?

On tactician, level 9 not sure where to go on reapers coast?

Everything in town seems to want to send me out of town, tried exploring but cant find enemies that are below level 12 and thats rough while still level 9. Any particular place to go? I'm sure its probably a linear storyline until I hit high enough of level, just not sure where that is.

The left hand side of the map is 10-12, there is a lot of exploration around, the graveyard has 3 level 11 encounters, the blackpits is 13. I always head to deal with Mordus first, that is always a pretty good way to start imo. There is also level 10 start in the Driftwood arena too, you need to do the challenge or the dwarf girl will not let you go in again though.

Mordus is the wreckers cave portion of it? Thats the direction I was heading just seeing if anything level 9ish to see if i can level up before i head there

Stay in town for a bit. Not all the quests lead you far outside of town. You can start the Meistr Silva quest line violently or non-violently--the violent option is tough, though, be warned. Do you have anyone with Pet Pal? Check out the chickens east of town and a couple of cows north of town (avoiding any creepy scarecrows).

first thing I do is rescue Meister Siva just outside of driftwood since her questline leads to learning an ability you will find crucial for obtaining and solving a number of quests.

You can get a full level without leaving town. Then go West for level 10 and 11 stuff. When you finish that side you will be 12 and pretty close to 13..

Already did the Siva questline, up to when I got that ability. Did the chickens quest, going to try and head north to do the cows see if it'll put me over.

Dude I feel you I went counter clockwise and that was I think the wrong way first because if i went left that is where the story TOLD me to go lol. So go left into that town and there is stuff to do but I went left and did plenty of stuff anyway but it was harder than it had to because they were like 3 levels higher than me.

If you fail the persuasion check to free Meistr you get charged by 3 lvl 12 guards though. Can also just kill her and pick up the note from her corpse to trigger the followup for increasing your source powers.

Stick with quests in town for non combat exp like the disappearances of magisters and Lothar's questline. Murder some voidwoken in the cellar of the fishery, then follow Lothar's to the west.

When I arrived in Reapers I first ran around a bit on the map dodging encounters and mostly just tagging shrines and meeting more traders. Got a bunch of exploration and other free exp that way.
