citizen demons outside the blackhouse in arx

So, i'm trying to clean off the doctor's minions off of the streets of arx, but whenever i kill one of them they run off and say "retreat,open the rift" or "we are too few", i tried searching for threads talking about this but it seems no one tried to kill them yet, but i don't know, maybe this is a hidden quest or something.
Do you guys know where do they run off ?

Nope.

I believe all of us made the minions and nurses die before the doctor, so that never came up.

Actually for my part, i tried to kill them after i got rid of the doctor.

You can kill a few before the fight, if you can one-shot them, since then no alarm is raised. So that seemed natural to most players I suppose. And when the fight breaks loose, they are way more squishy than the big guy and fall to the AE attacks first.

Are you talking about his minions at the house ? because i'm talking about the ones that roam the streets, like the ones near the school and the lizard dream gate thing.

What minions roam the streets? And there is no one in the garden around the dream gate.

the demons that sometimes when you talk to them say that the doctor likes you and wants to meet you, they walk in human skin but when you aggro one they bring 3 others and transform into demons.

Nope, not them, because i already killed them + the nurses and their doctor.

According to another post the people with physical & magical armor when you examine them are demons in human skin. You don't even have to talk to them to find out.

I found a lizard kin outside the school woth the junkies, he had armor and magic but he/she wasn't a demon, so that theory is wrong.

"Unassuming Citizens." The behaviour is a little weird--I dropped one, four showed up to the second fight, I dropped two more, three showed up to the third, but in the third, they tried to portal away and failed, wailing that the Doctor (who was dead by fight #2...) had closed the portal/wouldn't let them open it. Then I wiped them.

My encounter locations, BTW were the schoolyard, Kemm's garden, and the street outside the consulate.

Did they approach you or did you figure them out a different way?

I was approached by two of them after I killed Kemm . One at the Arx town center teleporter and another near the school. They both said the doctor wanted me to pay him a visit.
